It was just a small publishing company located in Paris, France. But CINEMAGAZINE had a good reputation and honored Greta with a nice little tribute, 17 marvellous postcards all together. Not that much compared to other competitors but the quality was convincing.
The cards came out in a sepia brown tone, at the end of the production also in a lighter version. Regular postcard format, no other sizes and no colorized merchandise.
A good identification is the company symbol, printed on each card on the lower left edge (a capital C containing a capital E). The complete name of the card collection was CINEMAGAZINE-EDITION, PARIS (you can read that on the reverse side of each card, together with Made in France). The different card numbers were also on the front in the left corner.
There is just one exception: Card no. 356 doesn't show the company symbol and shows the number on the right front side.
As far as I know only longish formats have been produced, also those with partners.
A few cards are still
missing. So if you can help to complete our list by scanning the outstanding ones, please be so kind
as
to do so. If you should have more informations about that French company, write an email, would be great. Thank you.
Enjoy the little world of CINEMAGZINE.
