INFOS

This off-Broadway play by J. Roy Sullivan, was premiered on November 1965, at Judson Poet's Theater in Washington Square. Its title character, played by Gloria Pages in a Bowery bum's rags, rides the subway with other misfits, convinced that the world is ending and that only she can bring some sort of post-Apocalyptic peace ("no more wars," she says. "I fixed all that." And to another character: "I see you know God, too. A wonderful man.").
