Premiered on March 5 ,2007, at the Arthur Seelen Theatre at the Drama Book Shop (250 West 40th Street), New York. Kathleen Chalfant, Taina Elg, and Laila Robins will star in this staged reading of Garbo's Next Walk. Written by K.Bathory and directed by Paul Mullins.

The play focuses on the last walk taken in New York City by the legendary screen actress Greta Garbo, who left a thriving career in Hollywood in the 1940s to move to New York City, where she spent the rest of her life as a virtual recluse.

The play was re-released in late august 2007. It is rumored that the producers are working on a German version right now which could be premiere in Berlin 2008.

In 1942 Greta Garbo, the screen's most mysterious actress, left Hollywood forever, hiding herself in her New York City apartment for the rest of her life. All she seemed to care about were her walks. In 1990 she took her last walk.

Garbo's Last Walk is the haunting tale of the ultimate screen goddess, a woman whose private life was shrouded in secrecy... until now.
