Since there were Stars there existed lookalikes. But when Garbo came, everything got a new dimension. Garbo look-alike contests were held in various countries and dozens of girls tried to imitate Garbos look, style, make up and hair do. Garbo's look was unique, but her aura, her image was harder to capture.

Still there are woman, famous and infamous who imitate her, but also men do handle it very good sometimes to look like the divine.
