This two series consists of 500 pictures. 200 of these are large sized (58 x 72mm) and 300 are small (33 x 60mm). The larger ones were included in packets of ten cigarettes and the smaller ones in packets of four. The pictures could be exchanged at a rate of three small ones for one large one.
The set contains a mixture of Hollywood and German stars. The title (colour movie pictures) is slightly misleading since although the cards are coloured, this is restricted to the borders. The pictures themselves are black and white.

This set "Moderne Schönheitsgalerie" of 600 pictures (Part I = 300 pictures; Part II = 300 pictures) is undoubtedly the nicest set of film stars around (apart from possibly the second series of them). Each card is in full colour, is embossed with an individual pattern, and has a varnish coat.
