The Garbo Building
In the mid 1970's, MGM's studios in Culver City were acquired by Columbia.
For reasons of piety Columbia have kept the old names of two of the largest studio buildings – the Greta Garbo Building and the Katharine Hepburn Building.
The Garbo Building – the only building in the world to bear her name – was transformed into offices for the production of Dallas. Larry Hagman's dressing-room was on the ground floor.
