The memorial service,  was held on June 17, 1999. It  was held the day  after her ashes were buried. Greta's gravestone is very close to those of the Gustafson's family grave.

Garbo's Memorial Service was  filmed for Swedish TV. It was called Till Minne Av...Greta Garbo  (In Memory Of...Greta Garbo).

This 75 Minute production was aired on Swedish TV and  was produced by Inger Soderman for SVT (Sveriges Television).
