The plot
Daffy wants to be top star at the studio. To this end, he persuades Porky to resign from the Schlesinger studios to pursue a career in feature films as Bette Davis' leading man.
Porky goes to Leon Schlesinger and asks to have his contract torn up. Schlesinger reluctantly agrees, and wishes Porky the best of luck. "He'll be back!", chuckles Schlesinger (looking toward the audience) after Porky is out of earshot.

Porky spends the rest of the film trying to get into the lots and sets of an unnamed studio, with little success. After several failures, Daffy says he can get Porky a job that will allow him to work with Garbo. He pronounces her name as ‘Greeta’.
“Hey Porky, I hope you didn't sign up here again. Because I know where there is a pip of a job at $12,000 a week. Playing opposite Greta..."
At this point Porky tosses a tomato at Daffy's face, not listening to him. Daffy wipes off the tomato off his face, and uselessly concludes, "...Garbo".
